Our story
We created Heed to bring simplicity, fluidity and organisation back to everyday clinical practice.
Everyone has a story to tell. This is ours!
My wife is a psychologist and, as her practice grew, something started to become increasingly clear: the time she spent organising her practice was overtaking the time she spent with her patients.
She wanted to record sessions, follow up with patients and keep everything organised. But to do so, she had to adapt generic tools to specific needs — none of them designed for mental health, none truly suited to her reality.
She ended up building systems from scratch, inventing processes and connecting pieces that were never meant to work together.
And even then… it was never enough.
When organisation weighs more than what matters
Organising the practice stopped being something that helped. It became a burden. More time managing than accompanying. More energy spent on processes than on people.
And that made no sense.
Clinical management should bring clarity, not friction. It should support the professional, not exhaust them.
That was the moment we realised: the problem wasn't the way of working — it was the tools being used.
The tools we use shape our day
I have always believed that the applications we use every day have a direct impact on how we work — and even on how we feel.
A good application shouldn't just work. It should be simple, intuitive and light. It should reduce effort and create mental space.
But the existing solutions were the opposite of that. They were fragmented, complex and generic — disconnected from the reality of clinical practice.
Nothing was built for psychologists.
Building something that truly makes sense
That's how Heed came about.
Built with — and for — psychologists, Heed is a system where the entire clinical practice lives in one place. Everything connected naturally, with no need to adapt, improvise or create workarounds.
It's not just about more features. It's about creating an experience that brings clarity. That gives control. That reduces the noise of everyday life.
Something that lets you start the day with a clear view of what matters, effortlessly. That follows the psychologist's thinking, instead of interrupting it.
Something that gives focus back to what's essential: the patient's story.
More than software
Today, Heed is that: an integrated, accessible and organised environment. Where psychologists stop managing systems and start focusing on what truly matters — people.
At the end of the day, it's not about software.
It's about giving back time, energy and presence to those who care for others.
